- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 October 2019I grew up with bob dylan songs,on the radio and in pals houses, bought a fair amount of his music myself, saw him live once at ST James park Newcastle supported by Santana and Lindesfarne, never saw so many grown men with tears in their eyes when he took us from our early teens to our grown adult years with his songs, without a doubt he is the greatest songwriter of the 20th century,i love lennon mcartney and jagger richards but who do they love? Bob Dylan of course! plus he goes and gets himself awarded a Nobel Pize for literature. This is a good album it will get to you, trust me it will.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 March 2018This album is without a doubt Dylans finest work since 'blood on the tracks'. There are 5 or 6 absolute classics. And as usual with the great man, he finishes off with the perfect closing track. 'Shooting star' is too good to be true! And all you fans of 'time out of mind' should own this even better CD. I believe this CD to be better because of running time, cohesiveness, variety of songs. Great album though TOOM is, it is overlong and patchy. I'm a lifelong fan of Dylan and I rate this astonishing album right up there in his top 3 or 4 albums of all time. Just buy it!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 June 2022Cracked case, but cd perfect. Thanks
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 March 2022Can't believe this album has passed me by until now. Years after its release, I've discovered Dylan at his best - great lyrics, great melodies and great production.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 December 2021Daniel Lanois produced this on Bono's recommendation and his moody ambience is all over it. Its a classic. The first in a long time for Dylan and the last.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 August 2022Great album, much more appreciated these days and a good 180gm pressing.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 September 2017The 80's was not a good decade for Dylan he released three sub standard albums in a row and let's not even mention Live Aid ( I stayed up all night to see him). Oh Mercy was a triumph and a great return to form. A good collection of songs and the production just gave them the perfect atmosphere. His best album since the 70's.

Bien interpretado y producido, con letras inspiradas (me encantan Everything is Broken, Ring them Bells y Most of the Time) y con unos músicos en lo más alto.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mercy to him
