French Book
I read The Count of Monte Cristo, I could understand what was going on but it was a struggle, the language was archaic. I want something contemporary (1940s/1950 to present). Fiction or non-fiction is fine.
Books
The Land of Little Rain by Mary Austin; Eating Animals by Jonathan Foer; Another Country by James Baldwin

film
as in film for my film camera. Black and white or color is appreciated. I especially like cinestill but its expensive. But honestly film has gotten so expensive even the most budget rolls are appreciated.
Black shoes
current pair are getting worn down. Stylistically I like something like this but it doesn't have to be this: https://www.drmartens.com/us/en/1461-smooth-leather-oxford-shoes-black/p/11838002?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=organicshoppi
