I have good news and bad news.
The GOOD NEWS: The Audio/Video Production program at McNeil is growing fast, and Mr. Green is finally getting his very own A/V lab next school year!!! GNAR!
The BAD NEWS: Our lab is looking pretty drab at the mo.
Since time immemorial the room has been used by AutoCAD classes, compsci classes, and accounting classes- and it shows. All those nerds left behind on the walls were a few orphaned student projects and lame "classroom rules" posters from teachers I assume are long dead or at least retired.
My class introduces teens to film making by taking them through the pre-production, production, and post-production of their very own short films. It's honestly too much fun- so the classroom should be, too!
I'd like to give my students an environment that engages their senses and inspires their creativity. I am asking you to consider purchasing one (or more!) of the listed classroom decorations/supplies so that I can welcome students into a learning environment that encourages them to rededicate themselves to their work every day. Thanks!
