Chess Girls DC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides Chess education for girls. Completely guided by volunteers. In addition to our regular chess program, as part of our community out reach, Chess Girls DC hosts free chess classes and low cost chess tournaments at Emery Recreation Center. Emery Center supports students who attend Title I schools. We desperately need the items to conduct programing during the semester. Chess Girls DC provides support to girl students who would like to attend the United States Chess Federation National All Girl and K -12 Tournaments. It would be great if each girl had her personal Chess notation book.
